Sunk:. 3th April 1902 Imn collision with another steamer.
Diving: Lying upright, Decks are gone and divers can fin from end to end ,
view the bowsprit.
Launch: St Loenards, Hastings, Rye.

Mira
3700ton 345ft British tanker.
Position: 50 41 11N; 00 08 24W, Depth, 30m
Sunk:. 11th October 1917 Mined by UC 50
Diving: Sitting on her starboard side, decks are vertical,
badly corroded so this is a wreck to take care with.
Launch: Newhaven,Brighton Marina.

Molesey
3,218 ton Armed Merchantman.
Position: 50 35 23N; 00 27 24W, Depth, 45m
Sunk:. 1st December 1917, Torpedoed by UB 81 she then surfaced
and then set her explosives to finnish the job. U B 81 was sank
the next day the Molesay being her only victim.
Diving : she lies upside down and badly rusted, stands 6 m from sea bed.
Launch: Brighton Marina, Shoreham.

Position: 50 38 04N; 00 12 22E, Depth, 43m
Sunk:. 15th June 1962 in collision with the 6.199ton Jalazad.
Diving: Bows at 10m high sits to the west and well broken up,
the bridge stands 14m high, watch out for trawl nets.
Launch: Newhaven, Brighton Marina.

Oceana
6610-ton P&O Linner, Built 1888, 468ft x 52ft , 7000hp triple expansion engines.
Cargo; General plus £747.110 worth of gold and silver ingots, 40 passengers, 210 crew, London to Bombay.
Position: 50 42. 32N; 00 25.75E. or 50 42 19N; 00 25 45E, Depth, 22m.
Sunk: 16 march 1912, In collision with Pisagua, 2850-ton German
four-masted steel barque. Nine Oceana drowned when lifeboat capsized.
Diving: Beware strong tides, dive only on slack of 30 minutes.
Boilers stand 6m high amid tangle of wreckage. Sand covers and uncovers some sections.
one more silver ingot recovered by a sport diver in 1996. All except a few ingots recovered in immediate diving salvage operation.
